Just Listen and OOTD 7/25/17

Today was another chilly day. No rain so I opted for Vans. Keeping it simple with a t-shirt, jeans and Vans but still cute. I think a striped t, light wash jeans, and white sneakers are all essentials and can still be really cute.

Recently just re-red Just Listen by Sarah Dessen. I like to read intelligently, but my guilty pleasure is definitely YA and Sarah Dessen is by far my favorite YA author. Her books are so relatable and enjoyable. Just Listen follows Annabelle Greene, a high school junior, in her struggles with family, friends, and her inner secrets. She finds so much solace in friendship and music and it meant a lot to me in high school and now. "Don't think or judge. Just listen." Are words I live by and it's so nice to know that you're not alone. Books like these are such a comfort.
